The Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations (FDPIR) is a Federal program that provides USDA foods to low-income households, including the elderly, living on Indian reservations, and to Native American families residing in designated areas near reservations in Thurston, Dakota and Dixon Counties in Nebraska.

To find out whether you are eligible and to apply for benefits, please complete the attached Winnebago Food Distribution application completely with all information pertaining to your household, signed and return it to the Winnebago Food Distribution Program in person, fax or email.

Households cannot participate in FDPIR and the USDA Supplemental Nutrition Program (SNAP) in the same month. The State of Nebraska and Iowa complete SNAP verifications with our program.
