2023 Dugout Canoe Journey

Honoring our ancestors and the journey they took to ensure there would be future generations to Hocak people.
Commemorating the journey from Crow Creek 160 years ago.
Please join us to learn our history and be part of our journey.
We will embark on a historical trip from Crow Creek, SD to Engineer’s Point along the Missouri River to the Winnebago Reservation.
If you choose to follow the journey, please make your own arrangements. Joining the journey would be voluntary and not covered by any tribal liability.
