Our Mission:

To provide one-on-one services to American Indians and Alaska Natives with disabilities to find and/or maintain gainful employment, learn skills necessary to live more independently, and provide on-going support to individuals with disabilities in maintaining/obtaining employment.

Our Purpose:

The purpose of WTNTVRS is to provide culturally relevant vocational rehabilitation (VR) services to American Indians and Alaska Natives with disabilities whom reside on the Winnebago Indian reservation. These services are consistent with individual strengths, resources, priorities, concerns, abilities, capabilities, interests, and most importantly, informed choice, so American Indians with disabilities may prepare for and engage in gainful employment, including self-employment, subsistence, and business ownership.

We offer 21 Types of Services such as:

  • Assessment
  • Counseling and Guidance
  • Referral
  • Job-related
  • Vocational and other training
  • Transition services
  • Etc.

Eligibility Requirements:

a. Enrolled member of the Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska or a federally recognized tribe
b. Living on the Winnebago Indian Reservation
c. Documented Physical or Mental Impairment Substance Use Recovery
d. Substantial Impediment to employment
e. Can benefit from VR services
f. Requires VR services
