Lauren Buchanan

A Winnebago Tribal member from the Wolf Clan. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Wayne State College in 1996.  Lauren has an extensive history of serving the Winnebago Community through various boards, providing valuable insight into community needs. Lauren has served on the Tribal Tax Commission for 5 plus years. Her passion for community/tribe and her commitment to continuous improvement make her a valuable asset to the Tax Commission.

isaac Smith

A Winnebago Tribal Member from the Thunder Bird Clan and serves as the Vice-Chairman of the Winnebago Tribal Council. He is a recognized leader in the community, with a proven ability to drive operational excellence.  Isaac has served on the Tax Commission since 2024, his goal as a Tax Commissioner Chairman is to improve the quality of life for the tribal membership by strategically distributing tax revenue to the tribal departments to improve services.

William Bass

 Hizakisana hinikaragiwina. Hocak rasra Masja Mani ga higairena. Maixete rasra Willy Bass ga higairena. Hello, my name is Willy Bass. My Hocak name is Masja Mani. I am from the Bear Clan of the Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska. I have been with the company for seven years. I was appointed to the Winnebago Tax Commission in 2023.  My goal as a Tax Commissioner is to contribute my leadership and community collaborative skills to the area of tribal tax to positively impact the Tribe and its membership for generations to come.

Monica Cleveland

A Winnebago Tribal Member from the Thunder Clan. She earned a Master of Business Administration from Bellevue University in 2023. Monica was appointed to the Tax Commission Board in August of 2024. Her goal as a Tax Commissioner is to ensure effective tax management and compliance.

Rona Stealer

serves as Treasurer on the Winnebago Tribal Council and has previously served on Tax Commission as the Vice-Chairwoman.
